Hi folks,
This here blog entry is designed to give you information for events and activities we think you may enjoy. Variety is of course the spice of life and I’ll endeavour to find all kinds of exciting (mis)adventures for your diary.
Sat 2nd July – Ruby Slipper’s Retro Romp is a vintage fair held in Exeter, Devon. Stuffed full of vintage delights, dance classes and performances.
Sat 9th July – Got some tension that needs releasing? Then maybe cheering along at the Painspotting roller derby is just the ticket. Running from 3pm – 6pm at UWE sports centre with an afterparty at The Fleece (8pm) you can watch Bristol’s Harbour Harlots battle it out against Gloucester’s Severn Roller Torrent.
Tue 11th – Sat 16th July – Dare Devil Divas have an exciting and varied workshop programme during this week at The Parlour in Bristol. Including activities to help you work on character and performance, confidence and self expression and being generally fabulous inside and out. Our very own Poppy von Tarte will be there too with a workshop and performance lecture, so be sure to stop by! You even have the opportunity to get your pout on with the Photobooth on the last day. The exquisite cherry on top is the closing party on the Saturday with discussions, talks, performances and more.
Sat 9th – Sun 17th July – A plethora of goings on for Pride Bristol are kicked off with a flashmob (and other events) at Cabot Circus. The week contains film, comedy, theatre, art and sport, over various venues, with main celebrations on Sat 16th. Pink Kitten are proud to be involved, so keep an eye out for us in the march with our cheerleading team or at the Boylesque tasters at The Palace!
Fri 29th – You can party it up with more vintage than you can shake a stick at with Bristol Blitz Bash, a 40’s theme night at The Lanes, Bristol. Complete with swing dance, burlesque, cocktails and more.
