TERMS AND CONDITIONS

What if I am feeling nervous?

Don’t worry! Everyone else in class is too, but there is such a friendly atmosphere that very soon you will be too busy dancing and having fun to feel self conscious. Just remember to have fun and not judge yourself harshly and you will be fine. Just remember everyone is new to this and its not worth learning if its not a challenge to learn. If what we taught was easy it wouldnt be as rewarding to learn and we wouldnt still be in business. We have been teaching beginners for over 15 years and we specialise in creating a supportive environment for everybody to find their inner badass.  Give it a chance and dedicate a few hours a week to yourself at Pink Kitten and we can teach you things you never thought possible.

What if I don’t have much dance experience? Im not a gymnast or dancer! Everyone else looks like they are pros!

Again, don’t worry! You don’t need to have any dance or previous fitness experience as our classes are designed to be fine for complete beginners. We will build your strength, body awareness and musicality with exercises in class. Yes sometimes a class will be hard but nexttime your body will remember those movements and find it much easier. we use similar movements in everyclass so after a few weeks you will start to feel that you are GETTING IT and moving more naturally already!

What if I want to Pole/do Aerial but I’m not very strong?

You don’t need to be very strong for these classes. It doesn’t take a lot of strength to spin on a pole, you just need to know  the correct technique, which we will show you. You then build up your strength for more advanced moves as you go along. We would suggest starting your aerial journey with serial hoop or aerial yoga where the equipment can be put low down to the floor to make it easier for those who still need to build strength and confidence.

I’m not very fit, can I still do Pole/Aerial and Burlesque dance?

Absolutely. Our classes are for people to get fit in and learn to dance, so they don’t need to be fit to start off with, and really are for people of all levels of fitness. Your first class may be overwhealming but give it a few weeks and you will be amazed at the body and brains capacity to pick up and remember new movement whatever your age and fitness

What if I want to book a course but know I am going on holiday and will miss a date?

If you state that you will be missing a certain date before the start of the course you can have a class in leiu i.e. you can make up the missed class in another course, so that you don’t miss out. However please note that after the start of the course if you do not attend a class for any other reason than proven physical injury you forfiet that lesson

What if I don’t have anyone else to go with me?

Don’t worry, plenty of our students come alone, but we find the classes are so friendly everyone bonds very quickly. We are very happy that our classes are very social and many really lasting friendships have been made in our classes. Take the plunge we are really friendly and most people come alone.

I’m worried everyone else will be younger or slimmer than me.

Don’t be! We have taught people of every possible age and size, and our classes are great for building confidence without having to worry about what you look like. We will teach you how to ooze sexual confidence no matter what your age and size.
