As usual we are here to brighten your life with cabaret and performance, glitz and limelight! If you fancy a dose of our glittering medicine to get you ready to pack a punch this summer, then our Intensive Weekend Workshops are just what the doctor ordered. We have devised our Burlesque and Boylesque workshops to give you all you need to become a burlesque or boylesque star!
Our sumptuous venue – the Palace in Old Market, Bristol – provides the perfect backdrop to your weekend. The first day will teach you the basics of your chosen workshop; learning the history, style, characters, moves and routines – which gives you the perfect grounding for day two! For the complete experience, our second day will allow you to explore your own character, style and act. We love to encourage people into getting carried away with the exciting environment of performance so are proud to offer an opportunity for you to try out your act on the Sunday night to your cheering friends and fellow students. Both intensive workshops can be booked as a one or two day course.
You will be guided through the weekend by our expert teachers and seasoned performers Poppy von Tarte and Tabitha Tease – what a treat!
This is the perfect opportunity to get involved if you live a little farther afield, have always wanted to try boylesque or burlesque, cant make our regular weeknight classes or want to give it as the ultimate gift!
