Join the one & only Filth Queen and star of the Transgressive Arts Scene for an insight into the darker side of the Body Beautiful. She has been called the ‘Grand Guignol of the Neo Burlesque’ and ‘Disturbing’ (Boyz magazine & Time Out) and in this one off workshop will explore with you the darker underbelly of self expression and how to utilize it in performance. Through various devising techniques and performance tasks she will take you through unlocking the darker, more unusual themes that make for great performance. A rollercoaster of a workshop be prepared to leave the chintz at the door and go darker still!
Liz Clarke is a live artist and performer with many years experience. Her high brow low life burlesque alter ego Betty Bruiser is a gun toting’, gin swigging anti heroine with a penchant for needlework and cannon balling.
