Want to take a trip down the rabbit hole that leads you into the wild and wonderful world of burlesque?  Want to explore the glitz, learn the glamour, reveal the secrets behind the tantalising exotic art form?  Those secrets will be within your gras p when you delve into the Pink Kitten burlesque intensive workshop.

Set in a luxurious backdrop of red and ornate gold, you'll instantly feel the sumptuous nature of The Palace welcoming you to the theme of the weekend.  Your glamorous guide will be none other than Pink Kitten's headmistress of burlesque and seasoned performer - Poppy Von Tarte.  You will benefit from her expert knowledge of performance and theatre to learn all the burlesque tricks and tips you need to be that pin-up burlesque starlet that you've always wanted to be.

Day One - Burlesque Foundations, Feathers and Fun

Day one will introduce you to classic pin up poses, struts, wiggles and characters within burlesque.  You will learn the techniques to create the perfect figure and vintage looks whilst reveling in feathers and glamour!  These skills will be put into practise as you learn a sizzling routine of shimmies and tease.

Day Two - Creating your Burlesque Alter Ego!

For the complete experience, continue into day two where you will expand on your new found knowledge to put your own stamp on your burlesque character.  Develop your routine and alter-ego style - with Poppy von Tarte's help,  you can create your very own act which you can even perform later in the evening to your cheering friends and fellow students!

Props

All props will be provided and drinks can be purchased at the bar; we ask that you bring with you your sexiest heels and wear anything that you feel comfortable in.  Feel free to bring props that you want to work with for the second day.

Prices

If you book both days upfront you receive a £10 discount.

Places are available on day one or Day two of the workshop, attendees to day two of the workshop must have either attended day one or another Burlesque course - please contact the office to check you have the minimum experience to attend day two

Attendees to day one will have option of upgrading to the second day if they wish once on the course but this will be charged at the full price of £50 each day.
